  We moved to Texas about 8 years ago, having lived in northern Nevada for decades.  Fire ants, rats, and assorted other vermin were a completely new experience for us, and they quickly became a problem.  We first hired a well-known Texas pest control service which offered a 4 time a year inspection and treatment for a fixed cost.  After about 3 years it became apparent that we were just a routine customer on a routine route, and they were never looking for anything extra to do.  Like, for example, making sure the rodents were controlled around the pool equipment.  I spent over $1000 to replace wiring that they had chewed up, and which should have been detected if that company had been doing its job.

About 3 years ago I switched to Shawn and Jeff at Flower Mound pest control and I have been very happy.  Their service has been very personal and very specific, and very problem driven.  If we have a specific problem, and we have had several, they will deal with it in a specific way.  They will also do general treatments and inspections, and will put you on a regular visit schedule if you request.  However they are happy to come only when you need help, and they always show up on time, or even earlier if they can.

I cannot speak too highly of this company.  They are true professionals, and it turns out that their fees are much less overall than what I was paying for my previous service.  I am very thankful for all the help they have given me and my family.

He said he’d show up around 12:30 and showed up right on time.
